userstyles.org creates microsummary generator repository

Jason Barnabe has integrated support for microsummary generators into his userstyles.org site.  I’ve uploaded all my generators to the site, and some other folks have uploaded theirs, so it’s turning into a one-stop shop for microsummary generators.  Check it out at:

  1. Good to see Microsummaries getting more and more attention!

I have been working on my Microsummary Generator Builder Add-on for Firefox 2.0, which is slowly improving .

Integration of generator wizard, auto discovery (microsummary buddy) and a repository would be great (as per long-term goal of usertyles.org)!

  2. The install buttons on userstyles.org don’t seem to work (at least on my machine/profile). Can anyone confirm this ?

  3. Follow-up: A bit of digging quickly revealed the problem is that the MicroSummary Install URL is being passed as http://0.0.0.0:3000/livetitle/xml/{#} which is causing the problem.

It might’ve been done intentionally by the author for some reason – so I guess I’ll just wait till he fixes the Javascript 🙂

  4. It seems like the JavaScript has now been fixed. At least, I was able to successfully install a generator from the site a few minutes ago.

  5. my userstyles.org buttons are not popping up for installs can anyone confirm or give me some helpful hints
